The death of legendary music artist, Prince, has sent shockwaves throughout the world. Known for hits like “Purple Rain” and “When Doves Cry,” Prince has won countless Grammys and his influence on generations of artists is undeniable. Celebrities from all walks of life have taken to Twitter to express their sadness as well as to honor the memory of this musical powerhouse.
Shortly after the announcement of his passing, Prince’s Twitter profile picture changed, symbolically removing his sunglasses and exposing his third eye as expressions of grief circulated on the social platform.
