Diary Queen will be celebrating the end of winter and starting spring early with Free Cone Day while also raising money for charity.
On Tuesday, March 15, at participating DQ Grill & Chill and non-mall Dairy Queen locations across the country, people will receive a free small vanilla soft-serve cone with DQ’s famous curl on top. There is a limit of one per customer while supplies last. DQ will be accepting donations for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. DQ’sFree Cone Day benefits Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which raises funds to help improve the lives of kids who are treated in hospitals across the U.S. and Canada. In its 30 years,Dairy Queen has raised more than $100 million for the charity and 170 children’s hospitals in local communities. Last year, the restaurant raised $3.5 million for the charity after giving out six million free pancakes, CBS reported.
