How over playing James Bond is Daniel Craig? So very, very over it. So much, in fact, that he’s even employing talk of suicide — or at least some really hyperbolic language — to describe how ready he is to leave the super-spy character behind.“Now? I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists,” Craig says when asked by Time Out London how he’d feel about doing a fifth Bond film. “No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.”

So after this November’s “Spectre,” don’t expect to see Craig donning the tux again. In fact, he says if he did end up doing another 007 adventure, “it would only be for the money.” So if he ends up coming back, we can all totally hold him to that.

Of course, there’s been tons of speculation over who will succeed Craig as Bond —with all that Idris Elba talk, plusodds-makersputting their money on Damian Lewis — but as for Craig himself? He doesn’t really care.“Look, I don’t give a f—. Good luck to them,” Craig says with regard to the next Bond. “All I care about is that if I stop doing these things we’ve left it in a good place and people pick it up and make it better.”

He does at least have some advice for whomever steps into the role next:“Don’t be s—,” he says. “You’ve got to step up. People do not make movies like this any more. This is really rare now. So don’t be s—.”
