Brad Pitt and Frank Ocean have a very cute history of mutual adoration. Now, Frank Ocean is taking it a step further — the singer serenaded the hot dad over the weekend at Fyf Fest and I literally can not.
During his set, Ocean sang sang the Carpenters “Close to You” and the Jackson 5’s “Never Can Say Goodbye” while projecting a video of Pitt — who was also on stage — talking on the phone in the background. Is he shooting the s—t with Sienna Miller, or some other lady he’s rumored to be doing it with? I don’t know! But damn Pitt is looking good.
Can these two get a room, already? Please, I’m begging.
In May, when 53-year-old Pitt threw some sand on his face and opened up about his divorce, he admitted that he'd been listening to lots and lots of Frank Ocean lately. Call it a mid-life crisis with a really good sountrack! “You know, I just started therapy. I love it, I love it... [And] I just got into R&B for the first time," he said. Yes. For the first time. "R&B comes from great pain, but it’s a celebration… I’ve been listening to a lot of Frank Ocean. I find this young man so special. Talk about getting to the raw truth.” So yeah, Brad Pitt is like all the rest of us who are emotionally moved by Ocean's music. Stars, they're just like us!
Shortly after that interview was released, Ocean was spotted wearing a shirt with Pitt's face during a performance in Manchester, England. Because these two are legitimately obsessed with each other, and they're perfectly content to stroke each other's ego. Somebody's got to do it!
Anyway, I am truly living for this celebrity friendship, courtship, whatevership. Here’s hoping it fares better than Pitt’s marriage to Jolie.
