A mother and daughter were attacked in what police said was a hate crime on Saturday morning while they were out for dinner inmidtown Manhattan.
Authorities said the 27-year-old daughter and her 46-year-old mother were at the BarKogi restaurant on Second Avenue and West 51st Street when three loud patrons approached them.
Identified only as two women and a man in their 30s and 40s, the suspects were caught on surveillance video walking away from the restaurant shortlyafter the women said they were attacked by the trio.
The women were sitting at a table in front of the threesome when investigators said they began shouting anti-gay slurs and obscenities.
The New York Post reported they called the daughter a “f—ing lesbian” before they pulled her to the ground.
Police arrived to the restaurant at around 1 a.m. to find the daughter with cuts and bruises on her knees, that she said were the result of being dragged by her legs.
She was treated at NYU Langone Medical Center for cuts and bruises.
The man is described as white and in his mid-40s, measuring about 5-feet-8-inches tall and 180 pounds. Balding with a beard, he was last seen wearing a long-sleeved shirt and jeans.
Both women are described as white and in their mid-30s and about 5-feet-7-inches tall.
The dirty blond-haired woman was wearing a light-colored shirt, black pants and light-colored, high heeled boots.
The second woman caught on camera had long, wavy black hair and was last seen wearing a white tank top, black pants and black, high heeled boots.
