Police are searching for the man believed to be responsible for three sexual assaults on women around Queens’ Kissena Park.
At around 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 10, a 50-year-old woman was riding a bike along Kissena Park when the suspect grabbed her, police stated. He allegedly talked to the victim as he touched himself over his clothing before the woman was able to break free and flee.
On Sunday, June 12, around 10:15 a.m., a 24-year-old woman near the corner of Colden Street and Mulberry Avenue was approached by a man who hugged and kissed her and grabbed her buttocks, authorities reported. As the man touched himself over his clothing, the victim fled on foot.
Around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, near the corner of 56thAvenue and 148thStreet, the suspect grabbed a 41-year-old woman by both arms and attempted to pull her into a backyard, police added. After the victim screamed, the suspect fled in a red car.
Police described the suspect as a Hispanic man, about 40 years old, who was 6 feet tall and 200 pounds with a muscular build and a tattoo of a red and green star on the back of one of his arms above the elbow.
