Police have identified the victims of Wednesday night’s multi-city carnage, which carried over into Thursday.
Roxbury:The victims the shootings on Ernst Streetwere identified as Andrew Reed, 28, and Angel Oller, 20, both of Boston. The Boston Globe reported that Oller was the nephew of a Boston Police officer.
Mattapan:The victim of the shooting on Hosmer Streetwas identified as Darwin Adilas, 21, of Randolph. Adilas was shot along with two others outside of a family gathering.
Cambridge:The victim of the shooting at Newtone Courtwas identified as Rasaun Nichols, 31, of Cambridge. He was killed while sitting in a car in the housing complex.
Everett:The victim who police say was an unintended party caught in the crossfire outside of Braza Bar and Grill has been identified as Ashlee “Penny” Berryman, 21, of Malden. She leaves behind a 3-year-old son.
Dorchester:Aperson was shoton Bowdoin and Norton Streets in broad daylight on Thursday afternoon. This person’s condition is unknown.Two people were shot on Hancock and Trull Street in Dorchester Thursday night. They were able to take themselves to the hospital.
Police Commissioner Bill Evans said Wednesday night was the longest night of his two-year career as commissioner. While police are not sure if the incidents are directly related, they don’t think that they were random attacks, barring the Everett shooting.
There have been no arrests in the midst of the carnage.
