Terminally ill Eminem fan dies one day after meeting him

Today is a very sad day. Seventeen year old Gage Garmo, a self-proclaimed Eminem superfan, passed away last night. Garmo suffered from Osteosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer.

When the doctors put a devestating timestamp of only one week left to live on Garmo’s life, his friends wanted to make one of his biggest dreams come true, meeting Eminem. Using the hashtag #GetGarmoToMeetEminem, soon strangers all around the world joined in on the Twitter discussion, which led to getting noticed by Eminem himself.

Sunday, Eminem’s manager posted to Instagram saying “Mission accomplished. God bless this beautiful kid and thank you guys for all your hard work.”
