Aeronaut Allston

Back for its third year in a row, Aeronaut Brewing will once again take over Zone 3 in Allston this summer. The Somerville brewery will set up shop at 267 Western Ave. on Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Fridays from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. beginning June 1 and ending on Sept. 28. In addition to the brews, the beer garden will feature live music and artistic performances, plus plenty of food trucks.

American Fresh Beer Garden

Somerville Brewing Company is bringing its American Fresh Beer Garden back to 301 Canal St. in Assembly Row this season. Stop by after 5 p.m. during the week or after noon on weekends to enjoy a few brews plus a variety of free programming, including outdoor trivia, live music, bocce tournaments and more. You can also bring your pooch along for some fun, as the beer garden is dog-friendly, although only up to five dogs are allowed in the area at a time.

Bronwyn

The beer garden at this German-inspired tavern in Somerville is now open for the season. Located at 255 Washington St., the Union Square hotspot has a beautiful outdoor space to enjoy food and brews, and is open after 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and after 11 a.m. on weekends.

Craft Collective Beer Barn

Beer fans now have another reason to visit the SoWa Open Market on Sundays. SoWa has teamed up with Craft Collective for a new Beer Barn, a beer hall meets taproom set-up that features a host of local brews and ciders, plus lawn games and live music.

Greenway

Visitors to the Greenway will have two spots to enjoy libations this season. After a successful debut last year, the popular Trillium Garden will return to High Street across from the Rowes Wharf in late May to serve up brews and wine on Wednesdays through Fridays from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., as well as Saturdays and Sundays beginning at 11 a.m. Downeast Cider will also join the fun on the Greenway in 2018, as its new "Back Porch" in Dewey Park near South Station will be open Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays beginning on May 21.

Lamplighter

Head to the New England Open Markets’ Central Flea to sip on Lamplighter brews outside. The Cambridge brewery's beer garden at University Park will be up and running every Sunday through October 28 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The space can fit up to 100 and features everything from lawn games and food trucks to go along with all the tasty suds.

The Patios

From mini golf to puppies, there are a ton of reasons to visit The Patios at City Hall Plaza. Beer loves will want to stop by to check out the Brew Yard, featuring Wachusett Brewing Company's Airstream trailer. Visitors can swing by for a few pints starting at 4 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. on weekends. Wachusett plans to rotate its list of beers on tap throughout the season and will also host special tap takeovers with breweries.
