“Runaways,” the latest addition to the ever-growing, live action Marvel universe, is set to debut on Hulu this week. These aren’t your average teens, though, as the group of high school student quickly finds out that they have super powers. Oh, and they also discover that their parents are part of an evil organization called The Pride. Ahead of its premiere on Tuesday, find who are the Runaways, the latest ragtag team of superheroes.
Alex Wilder
Alex (Rhenzy Feliz) isn’t the flashiest member of the Runaways, but he’s definitely the smartest. The genius of the group comes to find that his mother and father, as well as his friends’ parents, are part of a villainous organization called The Pride.
Nico Minoru
Played by Lyrica Okano, Nico is the Goth girl of the Runaways and brings a touch of magic to the group. Using her Staff of One, the Wiccan can conjure up spells to fend off evildoers.
Karolina Dean
Karolina (Virginia Gardner) is truly out of this world. This Runaways member eventually finds out that she’s actually an alien who can absorb solar energy.
Gert Yorkes
As a punk, politically active teen, Gert (Ariela Barer) is never afraid to speak her mind. She also has a telepathic link to a genetically engineered dinosaur named Old Lace, so it’s probably a good idea to not mess with her.
Chase Stein
Chase (Gregg Sulkin) brings more than just his good looks to the team. While he may come across as your average high school jock, he’s also a talented engineer.
Molly Hernandez
Played by Allegra Acosta, Molly is the youngest member on the Runaways roster. Don’t let her age fool you, though, as she’s also the team’s toughest hero thanks to her superhuman strength and invulnerability.
“Runaways” debuts on Hulu Tuesday, Nov. 21.
