Thanksgiving is one of the most traveled holidays in America, and that means that the T has all kinds of changes planned. The schedules may be a little confusing, and that is before the riders flood the platforms and bus stops between Wednesday and Friday.

"With the exception of Silver Line service to Logan Airport, ridership across all MBTA modes is light to moderate during the annual Thanksgiving period," MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo said in a statement. "Extra service is added to the Silver Line to accommodate customers traveling to/from the airport."

That said, don’t be a turkey: Plan your travels accordingly.

To accommodate customers traveling to and from Logan Airport, the Silver Line 1 will add additional service through Monday, Nov. 30.
