The ladies of ‘Broad City’ are teaming up with Paul Feig for a movie

Fans of “Broad City,” get ready: Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson are preparing to jump to the big screen. Well, a project of theirs is, anyway. The Hollywood Reporter says the duo has teamed up with current king of lady comedy Paul Feig for an as-yet top secret movie project for Twentieth Century Fox. Will they appear in it? Maybe not. Will Feig direct it? Also maybe not. But he’ll produce it! And at this point, we’re ready to trust any sort of creative output from that particular group of people, even if we’re not sure what it is yet. Feig is probably a little busy with his Ghostbusters reboot at the moment, while the two women have another season of “Broad City” approaching. But someday soon, this no-doubt delightful project will be ready for you. It almost makes you want to go sing at a strange underground jazz club, doesn’t it?
