Fox has announced that your favorite '90s paranormal activity show is returning for a special six episode new season. That's right, "The X-Files" is returning to TV, and with its creative team largely intact, too. Creator Chris Carter is on board, as are stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson. Carter referred to the show's years off the air as a "13 year commercial break" and added "The good news is the world has only gotten that much stranger, a perfect time to tell these six stories.” Production starts this summer, but an air date has not been set yet. Anderson, at least, seems ready to go.
