A sketch has been released of a man accused of sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl inside her Bronx building last weekend.
The incident happened around the Fordham Heights area at about 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 24. as the child was entering the building, police said.
The girl was approached from behind by an unknown man, who then forced his arms around her mouth before restraining her, authorities said. He then sexually abused her.
The victim began to scream and the suspect then fled on foot. She was taken to a local hospital before being treated and released.
Earlier this week police also released video footage of the alleged abuser, showing him at a local commercial establishment following the incident.
