Two of those killed were 10-year-old Morris Park resident Nyanna Aquil and her grandfather Louis Perez, 65.

A 24-year-old man identified as Kristan Leka also died from the collision, although authorities were unable to say what if any relation he had to the others.

The three were walking along Morris Park Avenue just before 5 p.m. on Saturday when a 2011 Dodge Charger hit the rear of a Toyota Camry not far from where residents were out walking for Halloween.

But the car collision sent the Charger over the double yellow lines and towards the sidewalk before it jumped the curb where the costumed children and their caretakers walked along.

The car ended up tearing through a fence and against a brick wall.

Officials said Perez died at the scene.

Paramedics rushed both Aquil and Leka to the Jacobi Medical Center but were declared dead soon after arriving.

EMS also took three other pedestrians to Jacobi for treatment: a 3-year-old girl, a 9-year-old girl and a 21-year-old woman. All were treated for non-life threatening conditions, although officials were not able to confirm if they had been released by Sunday morning.

The Dodge Charger’s driver, whose name was not released by early Sunday, was also taken to Jacobi in stable condition. Police were unable to say if he faced charges or arrest as the NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad continues to investigate the crash.
