Things to do in Boston this weekend: Boston Film Festival

Get ready cinephiles, the Boston Film Festival returns this weekend. A number of interesting screenings are set to take place, including the pilot of the new NBC medical drama New Amsterdam on Saturday, as well as the film Grace, which was shot around Boston and will close out the festivities on Sunday. Stars Tate Donovan and Katie Cassidy of Arrow fame are set to appear.

This interesting production is a multimedia theatrical experience by Ireland’s Dead Centre, which revolves around Shakespeare’s only son, who died without meeting his famous father at the age of 11. The upcoming run with Arts Emerson will mark the show’s U.S. debut.
