Kate Winslet drops a ‘Titanic’ bombshell

All these years later, “Titanic” co-stars Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio still make fans’ hearts flutter. From the Golden Globes to the SAG Awards, these two are seeing plenty of each other this award show season. On “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” Winslet spilled about all of the nostalgia — and even dropped a major “Titanic” bombshell.

When Kimmel joked that Winslet’s character let Jack freeze to death in the water, the actress said, “I agree. I think he could have actually fit on that bit of door.” Oh no! Talk about a cold move, huh?

The “Steve Jobs” star also weighed in on the never-ending “Titanic” fandom. While she deems it “so lovely,” she said the pair gets a kick out of it. “It’s really quite endearing,” Winslet admitted. “We were giggling about it last night. I was like, ‘My, God! Can you actually believe it that people get so overwhelmed by the Jack and Rose thing still today?’”

Honestly, Kate, it’s not that surprising. Jack and Rose forever.
